Haight Custom T-shirt Quilt #2

This is a stunning, versatile design for T-Shirt quilts when you don't have alot of shirts to work with! So many layout options with this one! Choose school colors, a favorite color or even a theme or holiday color - we went with school color of gold and used black for the accent. A couple of the smaller parts of a shirt went out into two of the corners which added a little something and gave us the ability to still use those pieces :)  Finished size is 72" x 96" which made it a nice large lap for this taller recipient but it would also fit a twin size bed as well and that's how well this design worked to make it more of a bed size quilt from a smaller amount of shirts! We went with Pewter Cuddle for backing, black binding and Quilters Dream 80/20 Blend Batting inside. We picked the Athena digital design for this quilt and you can see in the pics how well the diamond shaped design worked with the angles in the quilt!  I am sure he will be a happy camper when he receives his new quilt!
